Hi everyone,
Welcome to the new home of the Digitally Enhanced Education webinars.
Whether you’ve been joining us for years or have only just discovered the series, it’s good to have you here.
Following my move from the University of Kent to BPP University, I’ll continue organising and hosting the webinars. I’m grateful to colleagues at Kent and BPP for supporting their continuation.
This space gives the community a home beyond any single institution. The webinars and everything we share here are completely free, with no paid subscription or donation required. Subscribe to receive webinar announcements, programmes, and joining links, alongside occasional blogs on teaching, learning, and AI.
If you’re joining us from the previous mailing list, please subscribe here to stay connected. The existing list will be deleted, and email addresses won’t be transferred automatically.
Our next webinar
Teaching with AI: Ideas and Experiences for the New Academic Year
14 October 2026 | From 14:00 (BST)
We’ll be bringing colleagues together to share practical examples, approaches they’re introducing this term, and lessons from previous teaching.
Would you like to give a talk?
We’re particularly interested in activities and assessments you’re using with students: what students are asked to do, how AI is involved, and what you’re learning from the experience.
Contributions could explore:
Teaching activities that involve students using AI
Assessment and feedback approaches that incorporate or respond to AI
Helping students use AI critically within their subject or future profession
Students’ experiences of AI in their learning
Lessons from previous teaching and new approaches planned for this term
Work in progress and honest reflections on what hasn’t worked are very welcome. We encourage contributions from all disciplines and educational settings.
Talks will last 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A.
If you would like to speak at this event, please submit a short synopsis by 23 September, outlining your proposed contribution. We’ll let you know the outcome by 30 September.

Please share this invitation with colleagues who might like to speak or join us. I’m looking forward to bringing everyone together again.
Best wishes,
Phil
